and assumption af.d not regarding but minding and fraudulently intending the same
Nathaniel Craftily and Subtily to deceive and defraud the said Thomas Storow to
account for the said six hundred seventy six and one half Gallons of rum and seventeen
hundred eighty and five pounds of Sugar with the said Nathaniel altho' the
same to do the said Thomas afterwards (to witt) the same day and year af.d at the
place af.d and often since that time by the same Nathaniel he was thereunto requested
hath altogether refused and still doth refuse to the damage of the said
Nathaniel one hundred and thirty pounds Currt money of maryland and
thereof he brings suit &a                                    Pledges &a J Doe & R Roe

    Whereupon Came hereinto Court before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek Caleb
Milburn of Somerset County planter in his proper person and undertook for the afd Thomas
Storow and assumed upon himselfe (Likewise the said Thomas Storow present here in Court in
his proper person assumed upon himselfe) that if it should happen that Judgment in the
plea afd should rendered for the afd Nathaniel Carrington against him the said Thomas
Storow or that the same Thomas Should be therein Convicted that then he the Same Thomas
should pay and Satisfie unto the same Nathaniel the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon or render
his body in Execution of such Judgment to the prison of the Sheriffe of the County afd there to
remain untill the same Judgment be fully Satisfied or that the Same Caleb Milburn will
do the same for him &a
                                                 Thereupon the said Thomas Storow prays that the said
Nathaniel Carrington may give Security for Costs in Case nonsuit be obtained against him
in plea afd which is by the Court here granted  Whereupon George Douglas of Somerset
County Gent present here in Court in his proper person undertakes for the said Nathaniel
Carrington that in Case he be nonsuited in the plea afd or otherwise Legally Cast
that then the said Nathaniel shall pay the Condemnation of the Court and all Costs accrewing
thereon to the said Thomas Storow or that he the said Geo Douglas will do the same for
him &a
                         And whereupon the said Thomas Storow by Charles Goldsborough his
attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &.a and prays Leave thereof to Imparle
here untill the third Tuesday of June then next following and he hath it and the same
day is given to the afd Nathaniel Carrington here also &a

    Att which day here before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek Came againe as well
    the afd Nathaniel Carrington as the afd Thomas Storow by their attorneys afd and
