                         Att a Court of his Lordship the Right honourable Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary
                         of the provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.c  Held
                         in the Court house at dividing Creek in the afd County the third tuesday of march to witt
                         the fifteenth day of the Same month and in the twenty second Year of his said Lordships
                         dominion &.c anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Six by his said Lordships
                         Justices the peace in the Same County to keep assigned of whom were present

Somerset County ss     The Jurors for the right honourable the Lord prop
that now is for the body of Somerset County af.d upon their oath do present that
William Hayman Jun.r late of Somerset parish in the County af.d planter
    the tenth day of October Anno Dom seventeen hundred and thirty and is at the parish af.d
    in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain John Follows of
    the same County Inholder in the peace of God and of the said Lord proprietary then and there
    did beat wound and evilly treat so that of his life it was much dispaired and other harms to
    then and there did to the great damage of the same John [illegible] the peace of the said Lord
    proprietary that now is his good Rule and Government &c
Testis   John Follows      On the Foregoing bill of Indictment [illegible] True Bill p Wm Jones
Foreman         Thereupon Command was given [illegible] County that he should take
the said William Hayman Jun.r should be [illegible] should safe keep so that
he might have his body before the Jurors of his Lordships [illegible] to be held in the Court
house at dividing Creek in the [illegible] to answer unto his
said Lordship of and Concerning [illegible] &c and that thereof he
should not fail &c [illegible] March then Next to witt the
fifteenth day of the [illegible] hundred and thirty six before the
Justices of his Lordships [illegible] the Court house at dividing
Creek in and for the [illegible] Junr in his proper person and
had a hearing [illegible] demanded how he would acquitt himself
of the [illegible] upon him Imposed says that of the premisses
af.d as by the [illegible] thereof &c            whereupon
