state af.d came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof Negro Ned of a light brown Complection five feet four inches and an half high about thirty years of age has no visable scars (or marks) which are noteable except a very small scar on his left thumb is the Identical person manumitted by his father Mark Delahay in the year Seventeen hundred & thirty to be free in the year Eighteen hundred and five and was raised in Talbot County aforesaid In Testamony (seal) &c JLoockerman Clk
Satisfaction that the bearer hereof (negro John alias John Carr who is now about 23 Years of age 5 f.t 6 inches & ¼ of an inch high ^of a Dark Complexion^ has one small scar a little below his under lip inclining to the right also a space or gap between the foreteeth of his under jaw) was born free and raised in the County & State afs.d In Testimony &.c this 16.th day (seal) of August 1814 JLoockerman Clk |
