Talbot Cot.y to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom it
doth or may Concern that Doct.r Ennalls
Martin of the County af.d came and proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof a black man by the
Name of Jacob Davis about 5 feet & ¼ of an inch high
with two scars on the under part of his left arm
about 30 years of age is the identical person set free
by Th.s Chamberlaine late of the said County deceased
                In Witness whereof &.c this 9.th day of Oct.r

Talbot County to wit
 I hereby certify that M.r Wm
Mullikin of the County and
State aforesaid came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof (negro Levin) alias Levin Mackery
who is now about twenty five years of age five feet one
             Inch and a quarter high of a dark Complexion
             has one small scar about half an Inch above
             the first Joint of the fore finger of his left hand
             and one Other Scar upon the ball of the thumb
             of the same hand was born free and raised in
             the County aforesaid

                                        27th day of Dec.r 1814
