bearer hereof a black woman margaret alias margaret Kersey who is now about twenty three years of age five feet five inches and one quarter of an inch high has one Small scar partly on the top of her right wrist) is the Identicle person named in a manumission from a certain Georg Kersey to sundry negroes bearing date the 25.th day of June 1812 which was duly and legally attested acknowledged and enrolled amongst the land records of the County aforesaid the Said Margaret to be free from the date thereof In Testimony & this 14 day of Septr 1812 JLoockerman Clk of Talbot County Court
a black man named James but who calls himself James Dixon who is now about 30 yrs of age 5 feet 5¼ inches high has one small scar directly on the first Joint of the middle finger of his left hand has a large space or gap between the fore teeth of his under jaw and a small gap or space between the fore teeth of his upper jaws is the identical person manumitted and set free by M.rs Catharine Goldsborough on the 16.th Ins.t which s.d negro James otherwise called James Dixon was raised in the County & State afs.d In Testimony &.c this 20.th (Seal) June 1815 JLoockerman Clk |
