State of Maryland Talbot County to wit  I hereby certify
all persons whom it doth or may concern that that
William Troth of Talbot County came and proved to my
Satisfaction that the bearer hereof a tall black man about
23 years of age by the name of Hannable Hynson has large
lips 5 feet 10¼ Inches high no visible scars or marks was
raised in the County afs.d & is free born
                      In Testimony &c
(Seal)            this 18th day of July 1815

Talbot County to wit

I hereby certify that
M.r Jonathan Rigby of the county and state
afs.d Came and proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer hereof a light black man named Ja.s
alias James Williams who is now about 30 years
of age 5 feet 9¾ Inches high has one scar
partly on his the back of his right hand and
near the third Joint of the his forefinger was
manumitted and set free by Joshua Leonard
of the County and State aforesaid and was raised
in the County and State
                In Testimony whereof &c this
(S L)         29th day of august 1815
