                   I hereby certify that M.r Tho: Jenkins
of the Coty & State afs.d came & proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a
light black woman named Rose who is
now about 53 years of age 5 feet 2 in ¾
high has no notable marks or scars was
manumitted & set free by David Cromwell
of the Coty & State afs.d & was raised
in said Coty & State      In Testimony &.c

inches high has a small scar over his
left eye brow was man & set free by
David Cromwell of the County & State afs.d
& was raised in s.d Coty & State
