                    Bail piece (when Recognizance filed)

The State of Maryland to wit   I hereby Certify That at a General
Court held for the Eastern Shore of the State of Maryland at Talbot
County Courthouse the second Tuesday of                  in the year
Seventeen hundred and Eighty four   Before R H H A C Hand
R G Jun.r Esquires Judges of the same General Court J H by C G his
Attorney Affiles in Court here the following Recognizance of Bail
to wit   E L plaintiff against J H Defendant   You A B and C D
do Jointly and Severally Acknowledge yourselves Special Bail for
the said J H at the suit of the said E L in An Action of Debt
brought by the said E L against the said J H in the General Court
the Acknowledge themselves to be Content therewith this      day
