                        Capias in a Criminal Case

The State of Maryland To the sheriff of         County Greeting you
                      are hereby Commanded to take JB   late of
    (seal)          County Yoman if he shall be found in your Bailiwick
                      And him Safe keep so that you have his Body before the
                      Judges of the General Court  At a Court to be held for
the Eastern Shore of this State at Talbot County Courthouse the
Second Tuesday of         Next to Answer         " to an Indictment
" for an Assault and Battery on the Body of AB &.c "

Hereof fail not at your peril and have you then and there this Writ
Witness R H H Esq.r Chief Judge of our said Court this
day of               Anno Domini &.c
