Talbot County to Wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom
it doth or may concern that John
Kemp of Talbot County came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a black man by the name
of Jacob five feet ten Inches high the end of his middle
finger on his right hand some what Injured by
a gathering on it about thirty three years of age has
a cast in his Eyes was raised in this County is the
Identical negro Manumitted by his Grand Mother Magalane
Kemp in the year 1784
                                     In tesmony &C I hereby set
my hand and affix my seal this 28.th day of July 1807

Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom it
doth or may concern that Thos Stevens
of Talbot County came & proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof Negro Abraham of a Dark Complexion about
25 years of age has several small marks on his hand
& [illegible] has a large scar upon his neck about
5 feet 7 Inches high  Is the Identical person manumitted
by him the said Thomas Stevens in the
year 1807 and was raised in the said County  In
             Testimony &      JL Clk
