Thomas of a brown Complection five feet eleven and an half Inches high has a scar scar near the last Join of his little finger on his left hand and has a scar Just between his two eyes and one on his forhead about forty five or forty six years was raised in the County afd and is the Identical person manumited by Thomas Keets of the County afd in the year seventeen hundred and Ninety Eight to be free at the Expiration of the year 1807 and was purchased by William Hindmand of the said County and was manumited by the said Hindmand in November 1806 to be free Immediately at that time that is to say in November 1806 Witness this 16 June 1807 J L State of Maryland Talbot County to wit I hereby Certify all persons whom it doth or may concern that Elizabeth Hollyday of Talbot County came & proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof Negro Jenny a bright Mulatto Woman about 38 years of age 5 feet 5½ Inches high has a small scar on her wright arm and looks Cross eyed out of her wright Eye is the Identical person manumitted by her the said Elizabeth Hollyday on the 7 day of April 1807 In testimony & July 16
