23  State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom it doth or
     may concern that Samuel Adams of the
Town of Easton in Talbot County afsd came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof Negro David Thomas of a light brown
complexion about forty five years of age five feet 2 Inch high
has no visible scars or marks was raised in the said County
is the Identical person that he manumitted on the 19
day of May 1807  In TEstimony & May 21 1807  JL Clk

Talbot County to wit
 Talbot I hereby Certify all persons who
it doth or may Concern that
Isaac Atkinson of Talbot County came and proved
to my satisfaction that the bear here^o^f negro Tucker of a
dark brown Complexion five feet one Inch hight about
forty years of age has a scar on her right arm near
her elbow and a scar on her left arm occasioned by
a burn and also a small scar near the last joint
of her thum on her left hand was raised in the said
County is the Identical person manumitted by his
father Aron Atkinson in the year seventeen
hundred and Eighty two  In Witness 23d day of
may 1807                        J Loockerman Clk

that William Troth Junr Esquire of the Town of
Easton in Talbot County afd came and proved to my
satisfaction that the bear hereof negro pegg about
seventeen years of age of a dark brown complection
five feet hight has a notable scar
left arm near her Elb on her left arm near
the elbow occasioned by the bight of a dog and
has a small scar on the back of her left hand and
