satisfaction that the bearer hereof a very dark brown 11 negro man named sam (alias Saml McDaniel aged thirty four years or thereabouts five feet six inches high with a wide space between his upper and under fore teeth is the identical negro man set free by W.m Harrison in the year 1807 and the s.d negro was born and raised in Caroline County & state afs.d In Testiomony &c Dated 26.th may 1808
that Adnidge Dobson a mulatto woman aged 25 5 feet 4 Inc.s high was born of a woman manumitted by John Dixon in the year 1776 scar on her left hand occasioned by a burn March 27 1817 Mary De Annen proved the loss of the original order In &c 11 July 1808 Talbot County to wit I hereby certify all persons whom it doth or may concern that Samuel Troth of the County & State came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof Negro Brister of a dark brown complexion five feet four & an ½ inches high about 55 ys of age has no visible scars or marks is the Identical person manumitted by Wm Troth on the 1 day of Jany 1777 To be free on the 7 day of Jany 1778 and was raised in the said County In Testimony &c March 7 1809 (Seal) J Loockerman Clk |
