Negro Jim of a very dark brown Complection five feet ten inches high has a small scar over his left eye & also has a small scar not farr from the last Joint of his little finger on his left hand about twenty seven years of age is the identical person manumitted by Philip Rigby on the 12th day of June seventeen hund.d & Eighty Nine To be free on the first day of January Eighteen hundred & Eight & was raised in the said County In testimony & State of Maryland Talbot County to wit I hereby certify to all persons whom it doth or may concern that the bearer hereof Negro Fanny of a bright yellow complection five feet five inches high about thirty years of age has a scar on the inside of the thick part of her thumb on her right hand some little Pock broken in the Face Is the Identical person manumitted by Eliza Harrison on the 27.th day of April Eighteen hundred & three to be free on the 1.st day of Jan.y Eighteen hund.d & seven (Seal) In testimony &c
hereof Negro Diana of a Brown complection about seventeen years of age five feet two inches high has no visable marks or scars except a small scar on the left side of her face was free born of a woman called Diana who was manumitted by Thomas Chamberlaine & was raised in the s.d County In Testimony (Seal) |
