State of Maryland  Talbot County  To wit  I hereby certify that
Soloman Stevens of the County and State afd came and proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a black man who
calls himself Benj.a Young and who is now about forty
years of age five feet two inches and a quarter high a large
scar on his left breast also one other scar on his right
year  dark complexion is the identical person named
in a Man.n from Wm Stevens to sundry negroes to be
free when he should arrive to the age of twenty
five years of age  which said Man.n was duly
executed and recorded among the Land records of
Talbot County where the said Benj.a Young was raised
                     In Testimony &.c  this 11.th day of Dec 1810

Talbot County to wit
I hereby certify to all whom it doth
or may Concern that James Boyle of the county and
State aforesaid came and proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer of a black man who calls himself Woolman
Denny and who is now about 22 years of age five feet five
Inches high has no notable marks or scars) was born
free and raised in the county aforesaid

                                     In Testimony whereof &c
                                     this 2.d day of august 1814

I hereby certify that Benjamin Mullikin
of the county and State afs.d came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof (negro Abraham alias Abraham Bantom
who is now about twenty three years of age 5 feet 10 Inches
and one Eighth of an Inch high of a black complexion
has one small scar on the right side of
his nose one other scar on his forehead immediately
above his ^left^ eye brow extinding nearly to the right
one other scar on the middle finger of his left Eye
hand about one half of an inch above the first Joint
is the identicle person set free by Catharine Norris &
others of the county afs.d  In Testimony whereof &ca this 2.nd
