that the bearer hereof Negro Rachel Rocks of a light brown complexion five feet 1 Inch high about 28 years of age has several scars on her arms was free born In Testimony & June 23 1809 JLoockerman Clk State of Maryland Talbot County Towit I hereby certify that William Fish of said County and State came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a black man who calls himself Robert Pinkney now about thirty years of age Height five feet six inches and three quarters Complexion dark Coffee well made is the identical person by the name of Robert in a Manumission from John Flemming to sundry negroes which is duly executed and enrolled among the land records of Talbot County afs.d where the said Robert was raized In Testimony &a this 16.th March 1810 JLoockerman Cl State of Maryland Talbot County to wit: I hereby certify that Philip Mackey came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a black man who calls himself Richard and who is now about 26 years of age 5 feet 7¼ inches high colour Dark Coffee one small scar over his right ^left^ eye one other small scar in the corner of his right eye one other scar on the second joint of the forefinger of his left hand is the identical person named in a manumission from P Mackey to be free on the 1st Jany 1805 & that the s.d black man Richard was raised in the County & State afs.d where the said manumission was recorded In Testimony &.c this 29 March 1810 JLoockerman Cl |
