                        Negro Russell Hill

Maryland Harford County Ss
                         I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Russell Hill a black man aged thirty six
years five feet six inches high has a scar on the back
of the right hand occasioned by a burn lisps in his
voice and very thick made became free in virtue
of a Deed of manumission duly Executed by John
Griffith and recorded the first day of February
Eighteen hundred and thirty one among the Land
record books of Harford County Court
                      In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                      subscribed my name and affixed
                      the seal of Harford County Court this
                      first day of February Eighteen hundred
                      and thirty one

Maryland Harford County to wit
I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Charlott a dark mulatto woman aged thirty five
years four feet and Eleven inches high having a
natural scar on the left side of her neck
became free in virtue of a deed of manumission
duly executed by Joseph Foard ^the^ Eleventh
day of February Eighteen hundred and seven
and Recorded among the land Record Books of
Harford County Court
