hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal of my
office this 19.th day of July 1828

                               Negro Hannah

Maryland Harford County to wit
I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Hannah five feet four and a half Inches high
with a scar on her face near her under jaw
and a scar on her left arm just below the
Elbow and the first joint of her little finger
crooked on her left hand of a yellow complexion
aged about thirty five years became
free by virtue of a manumission Executed
by Macy B Brown on the Eighteenth day
of June 1828 and recorded in office of the clerk
of Harford County Court on the 23.rd day of June
1828      Identified by William Brown


                            Negro Rachel Lewis

Maryland Harford County to wit
I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro Lewis
five feet one and a half inches high w of a yellow
complexion with a scar on his left Shoulder
aged about twenty two years was born Free and raised
in this County  In TEstimony whereof I have hereunto set
my hand & affixed the seal of my office the 14th Octr 1828
