State of Maryland Harford County to wit
             I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof
negro Sam aged about twenty two years
five feet six inches high of a dark complexion
with a scar under his left eye
and two on his right knee was born free
and was born and raised in the County aforesaid
             In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto
             set my hand and affixed the
             seal of my office the fifth day of
             June Eighteen hundred and Twenty
             Six               Henry Dorsey Clk Hd Coty

                      Negro Mary

State of Maryland Harford County To wit
I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Mary aged about twenty six years five feet high
slender made not very black with a small
scar on her right cheek under her right eye
was born free and was raised in Harford County
                             In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
                             set my hand and affixed the seal
Identified by           of my office this ninth day of October
Henry G Watters   Eighteen hundred and twenty six

                   Negro Hannah
State of Maryland Harford County To Wit
I hereby Certify that negro Hannah the bearer hereof is the daughter
of Negro Jane who by a deed of manumission bearing date the first
day of July seventeen hundred and seventy six was manumitted
by Henry Watters which said manumission is duly executed
and recorded by which deed of manumission it is stipulated
that the issue of the said Jane are to be free at the age
of twenty five years the said Hannah is now forty years
