(29 five feet eight and three quarters inches high about twenty eight years of age of a dark complexion became free on the first day of august eighteen hundred and nine in virtue of a manumission made by John Lee Webster of said county and duly executed and recorded The said negro Sam has a scar on the middle finger of the right hand and one on the left side of his head and has a sharp chin small mouth and a good open countenance and was raised in the County aforesaid In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this first day of January in the year Eighteen hundred and ten Henry Dorsey Clk negro Sam identified by negro Harry Webster as per aff.t filed Negro Mary Murrey State of Maryland Harford County to wit I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof negro Mary Murry a woman of five feet one Inch high Twenty five years of age Verry Black and stout built was born free In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set subscribed my name and affixed the seal of the County aforesaid this 12.th day of March 1810 the sd Mary Murry Henry Dorsey Clk proved to be born free in the office befor Joseph Brownley and in presence of me Saml Bradford as per s.d Brawleys certificate filed |
