                               Mulattoe Milley York

State of Maryland    Harford County to wit
                            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Milley
York a mulattoe five feet five inches high about twenty
five years of age was born free   The said Milly York
was raised in the county aforesaid has a scar on her right
^arm^ one on the left and four on the breast
                               In testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this first
day of October Eighteen hundred and nine

                                  Negro Peter

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
                   I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Peter
five feet ten      inches high about twenty nine years of
age of a black complexion became free on the first day of
August in the year Eighteen hundred and nine in virtue of a
manumission made by John Lee Webster of said county
and duly executed and recorded   The said negro Peter has
several scars on his left side and one over his right eye brow
rather thin visage broad mouth good countenance high
nose and was raised in the county aforesaid   In Testimony
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of
my office this first day of January in the year Eighteen hundred
and ten                                       Henry Dorsey clk
