State of Maryland Harford County Sct:
                I hereby certify that Negro Maria the bearer
hereof aged about thirty four yearz five feet half an
inch high dark complexion waz born in Harford County
Maryland and became ^free^ by virtue of a Deed of Manumission
from William Brown bearing date the
fifteenth day of September Eighteen hundred and
thirty duly executed acknowledged and recorded in
Liber H. D. N.o 13 folio 292 one of the Land Record Books
of Harford County Court and examined
                In testimony whereof I hereto subscribe
                my name and affix the Seal of Harford
                County Court this 11.th day of November

State of Maryland Harford County to wit
             I hereby certify that negro Robert Paca the bearer hereof aged about
thirty five five feet ten Inches high cooper complexion haz a considerable
scar on the bottom of hiz right foot waz born in Harford County and became
free by virtue of a Deed of manumission from Joseph Prigg bearing date
the ninth day of January Eighteen hundred and thirty two duly executed and
recorded in Liber H D N.o 15 folio 126 one of the Land record Bookz of
Harford County Court
                         In Testimony whereof I hereto Subscribe my name and affix
                         the Seal of Harford County Court this Seventh day of February in the
                         year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty one
