                Negro Rachel

Maryland Harford County To wit
                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Rachel about thirty three years ^of age^ of lightish complexion
five feet one inch high has three scars on the
left arm and a scar on the right hand became
free in virtue of a Deed of Manumission Executed
by Charles S Sewall on the ninth day of March 1832
and Recorded in Liber H D N.o 15 folio 136 one of
the land Record books of Harford County Court
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                   subscribed my name and affixed
                   the seal of Harford County Court this
                   Eighteenth day of September Eighteen
                   hundred and thirty two

Maryland Harford County To wit
    I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Aaron Richfield about thirty five years of age of
light complexion five feet ten inches high has
a scar on on the right thumb nail said to have
been done by a bite bite also has a small
not on the back part of the head also has
a small scar on the front part of the right
leg said Negro Aaron was raised in Harford
County and is free at this time
                In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                set my hand and affixed the seal of
                Harford County Court this 27th day of
                September Eighteen hundred and
                thirty two
