                Negro James Young

Maryland Harford County To wit
I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
James Young twenty two years of age dark complexion
five feet ten inches high has a small
scar on the left cheek bone also has a scar on
the Joint of the right wrist was born free and
raised in Harford County
                In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                set my hand and affixed the
                seal of Harford County Court this
                Eleventh day of August Eighteen
                hundred and thirty two

                   Negro Peter

Maryland Harford County To wit
I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro
Peter aged bout thirty years dark complexion
five feet five and a half inches high and has a
considerable scar on the back of his right hand also
has several scars on the left arm near the and about
the left Elbow said to have been done by a stab with
a knife said negro Peter became free by virtue of
a deed of Manumission Executed by Eleanor Edgar
or Eleanor Adgar bearing date the 25th day of march
1828 and Recorded in Liber H D No 11 folio 270 one
of the land Records of Harford County Court
             In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my
             hand and affixed the seal of Harford County
             Court and examined this 13th day of August
             1832
