                Negro Sci Howe

Maryland Harford County To wit
I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro Sci
Howe thirty eight years of age five feet six inch
six feet high very dark complexion has a scar on
the first Joint of the right Thumb also has a scar
on the first Joint of the first finger on the right
hand occasioned from a cut Said Negro Sci was
born free and raised in Harford County
             In Testimony whereof I have hereto
             my hand affixed the seal of Harford County
             Court this sixth day of June Eighteen
             hundred and thirty two

                   Negro Caroline

Maryland Harford County To wit
I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro Caroline
twenty seven years of age black complexion five feet
five and a half inches high has a scar on the inside
of the left wrist occasioned from a burn inclines
to be fat and has large thick lipse Said Negro
Caroline became free by virtue of a deed of manumission
executed by Other Scott on the 5.th day of march
1831 and Recorded in Liber H. D. No 14 folio 66 one
of the land Record Books of Harford County Court
             In Testimony whereof I have hereto set
             my hand and affixed the seal of Harford
             County Court and examined this Eighth
             day of June Eighteen hundred and thirty
             two
