                    Negro Solomon

I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro Solomon
twenty six years of age five feet Eleven inches high
has a black spot under the left eye has a considerable
scar on the fore ginger of the left hand & has a considerable
scar on the inside of the right knee has a scar on the
first Joint of the little finger on the ^right^ left hand became
fand was born free by virtue of a deed of manumission
Executed by Benjamin Osborn to his mother
Priss bearing date the 7.th day of June 1793 and
Recorded in Liber J. L. G. N.o M folio 8 one of the
land Record Books of Harford County Court
          In Testimony whereof I have hereto set
          my hand and affixed the seal of Harford
          County Court this first day of April
          Eighteen hundred and thirty two

                Negro Jacob Spencer

Maryland Harford County To wit
I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof Negro Jacob forty four years
of age five feet nine inches high a very dark mulatto has a
large scar on the inside of his right wrist and also has a scar
on his left cheek he became free in and by virtue of a deed
of manumission from Benjamin Carroll dated the fifth day
of march Eighteen hundred and sixteen and recorded in
Liber H D N.o Z folio 144 one of the land Record Books of Harford
County Court the said negro Jacob was born and raised in
Harford County
                         In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my
                         my hand and affixed the seal of my office
                         this second day of may Eighteen hundred and
                         thirty two
