Maryland Harford County Sct
             I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Patty Eighteen years of age five feet four
inches high dark complection has a scar on
the under part of the right arm about half
way between the elbow and hand occasioned
by a burn became free by virtue of a deed
of Manumission Executed by Benjamin
Osborn to her mother Susan and to her Grand
mother Combo on the 7.th day of June 1793
and recorded in Liber J L G N.o M folio 8
one of the land record Books of Harford
County Court
          In Testimony whereof I have hereto
          subscribed my name and affixed
          the seal of Harford County Court
          this thirty first day of May Eighteen
          hundred and thirty two

             I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
William Howe forty five years of age six
feet one inch and a half high very black
a considerable scar on his forehead a little
above his left eye and a large scar on his left
ankle occasioned by a Gunshot wound
he is slender made and very erect in his person
he was born free and raised in Harford County
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                   set my hand and affixed the
                   seal of my office this thirty first
                   day of May Eighteen hundred
                   and thirty two
