Maryland Harford County Sct
                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof a
mulatto woman named Caroline Peters twenty
years of age five feet four inches and three quarters
high bright yellow complection long visage
pleasant countenance and has a small mile
on the right side of her nose was born free her
mother being a white woman by the name of
Anna Johns and was raised in Harford County
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                   set my hand and affixed the seal
                   of my office this 29.th day of may
                   1832

             I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Nelly five feet two and a quarter inches
high dark complection twenty years of age
square made round face and pleasant
countenance became free by virtue of
a Deed of manumission from Skipwith
Coale William Coale Samuel Rogers and
Susanna Rogers dated the 29.th December
1813 and Recorded in Liber H D N.o Y folio 74
one of the land record books of Harford County
Court the said Negro Nelly was raised in
Harford County
                   In Testimony whereof I have
                   hereto set my hand and affixed
                   the seal of my office this 29.th
                   day of May 1832
