Maryland Harford County Sct
             I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
a bright mulatto woman named Ruth
fifty years of age five feet five inches high
stout made has a scar on the left side of
the face near the nose became free in virtue
of a Deed of Manumission Executed by Alexander
Thompson on the seventh day of October
Eighteen hundred and Eight and recorded
in Liber H D N.o U folio two hundred and nineteen
one of the land Record Books of Harford
County Court
                      In Testimony whereof I have
                      hereto subscribed my name and
                      affixed the seal of Harford
                      County Court this twenty ninth
                      day of May Eighteen hundred
                      and thirty two

Maryland Harford County to wit
             I hereby certify that the bearer Hereof Negro Doll
aged about sixty years five feet one and a quarter Inches high
very black considerably grey slender made was raised in Harford
County and became free by virtue of a Deed of manumission
made by John Lee Webster on the fourth day of February
seventeen hundred and ninety three and recorded in Liber
J L G N.o M folio 30 one of the Land record books of Harford County Court
                         In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my
                         hand and affixed the seal of my hand this twenty
                         ninth day of may Eighteen hundred and
                         thirty two
