                I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof
Negro Cate forty five years of age of a rather light
complection five feet three and a half inches high
became free in virtue of a Deed of Manumission
Executed by Joseph Scott Hannah Scott Elizabeth
Norris Susanna Norris and Mary Norris on the
tenth day of august Eighteen hundred and five
and Recorded in Liber H D N.o S folio 112 one
of the Land Record Books of Harford County Court
                      In Testimony whereof I have hereto
                      subscribed my name and affixed
                      the seal of Harford County Court
                      this twenty fifth day of May
