    Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
                   I hereby Certify that a certain Negro woman maria
now about forty six years old five feet five & a half inches high
of dark complexion & has a scar on her right wrist was manumitted
and set free by the last will and testament of a
certain Benjamin Blunt dated 11th September 1811 & admitted
to probat in my office on the 22nd October of the same year
her freedom to commence 1st Jan.y 1834 her person Identified
by the evidence of a certain Jonathan Evans
                            In testimony whereof I have hereunto
    (Seal)               set my name & affixed the seal of my
                            office this 16th day of March 1847

                                                 for Queen Anns County


Maryland Queen Anns County to wit  I hereby Certify that
a certain negro man named Stephen now about twenty
seven years old 5 feet 7½ inches high of light complexion &
has a large scar on his right arm was manumitted and
set free by the last will & testament of a certain Philemon
Spencer dated 20th June 1828 & admitted to probat in my office
on the 8th day of July 1828 his person identified by the
evidence of a certain Wm H Jarrell
                      In testimony whereof I have hereunto set
(Seal)             my name & affixed the seal of my office
                      this 16th March 1847   Leml Roberts  Reg wills
                                                       for Queen Anns County


Maryland Queen Anns County to wit  I hereby certify that
a certain Negro man named James now about twenty six years
old six feet high of light complexion & has a scar on his left
temple whose was manumitted & set free ^& freedom appears^ by the last will and
testament of a certain Susanah Carter dated 17th October
1835 and admitted to probat in my office on the 27th day
of the same month & year  his freedom to commence
according to the Inventory of said Susannah Carter on
the 6th day of November 1846 his person Identified
by the Evidence of a certain Elizabeth Bullen
                                  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
(Seal)          set my name & affixed the seal of my office
                   this 30th day of March 1847  L Roberts Reg wills
                                                    for Queen Anns County
