(23 high about thirty five years of age was Manumitted and set free her freedom to commence on the death of the said Charles Kertland her person well known to the subscriber In Testimony of the (seal) foregoing I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office this 3d day of May 1813 W.m H Nicholson Regr wills for Queen Anns County Maryland sc.t I hereby certify to whom it doth or may concern that by the last will & Testament of William B Hackett duly executed the 13th day of November 1807 and proved in my office the 4th day of April 1808 A certain Negroe man named Jem aged about twenty five years five feet seven Inches high has a scar on the right side of his chin & dark complexion was manumitted & set free after the 31st day of December 1813 his person identified by the Oath of John Hackett Test (seal) Wm H Nicholson January 15.th 1814 Regr Will Queen Anns County Maryland sc.t I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that by the last will and Testament of Anna M Chew duly executed the 28th day of February 1806 and proved in my office the 20th Day of February 1811 a certain Negree Girl named Mary four feet ten Inches high aged fourteen the 5th Day of February last of rather dark complexion and |
