198 In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name [Seal] and affixed the seal of my office this 13.th day of Dec.r 1839 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County Maryland Queen Anns County Orphans Court I hereby certify that a certain negro man named William aged about thirty years of a brown Complexion five feet 8 Inches high a small scar on the left side of his forehead was manumitted and set free by the last Will and Testament of a certain Elizabeth Herrington late of Queen Anns County dec.d duly executed on the 11 June 1820 and admitted to probat in my office on the 7 May 1822 his freedom to commence on the 11 June 1839 and his person being identified by a certain John Dyott In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name [Seal] and affixed the seal of my office this 24 day of Dec.r 1839 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I hereby certify that a certain negro man by the name of Cuff aged about thirty six years much pack broken of a brown Complexion and is five feet 8 Inches high was manumitted and set free by the last Will and Testament of a certain James Duhamel late of Queen Anns County dec.d duly executed on the 20 August 1816 and admitted to probat in my office on the 29 Sep.t 1817 his freedom to commence from 25 Dec.r 1839 and his person being identified by the evidence of a certain Samuel C Clayland In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my [Seal] name and affixed the seal of my office this 2 day of Jany 1840 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County |
