Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
          I do hereby certify that a certain Negro man named Samuel Powell
aged about 21 years five feet three & three quarter Inches high a mulatto
has a scar on his right wrist and one on his left hand was manumitted
and set free by the Last will and testament of a certain Clarissa E.
Meconnikin duly executed on the 27 april 1802 and admitted to probat
in this office on the 18 Dec.r 1802 in which she wills her Negro Girl
Maria who is the Mother of said Samuel Powell to be free at the
age of twenty One years and her increase at their birth and the
person of said Samuel Powell having been Identified by the Oath of
a certain Thomas Yewell
                      Given under my hand and the seal of my office
       [seal]       this 22 day of May 1837         Tho C Earle Reg Wills
                                                                      for Queen Anns County


Queen Anns County to wit
        I hereby certify that a certain Negro man by the name of
Phill otherwise called Phillip Jefferson Garnett aged about 29 years
five feet five ¾ inches high black Complexion has a large scar
on his right leg was manumated & set free by the last will and testament
of a certain Philip Feddeman duly executed on the 18.th July 1821
and admitted to probate in my office on 22.d Janry 1822 his
freedom to commece on the 5.th Feby 1836 and his person being identified
by the evidence of a certain Rich.d T Earle Esq
                   In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
      [seal]     name and affixed the seal of my office May 26 1837

   Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
             I certify that a certain Negro Woman named Mary
otherwise called Mary Sewell aged about 39 years five feet 3½
inches high of a Dark complexion has three small scars on her
left arm near the Elbow has lost several teeth in front much
decayed was manumitted & set free by the last Will and
Testament of a certain Philip Feddeman late of Q A County
