173 and was manumated & set free by the last will & Test.n of a certain W.m Ridgaway duly Executed on the 2.d day of May 1814 and admitted to Prob in my office on the 21 June 1814 his freedom to commence on the 1.st Jany 1835 his person having been identified by the oath of a certain Given under my hand this day of and the seal (seal) of my office this day of 1835 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I do hereby certofy that a certain negro man named Pere or Peregrine aged thirty years yellow complexion open countenance has a scar on his right forehead and one on his left hand and a small wart on back of his head & is 5 ft 8½ inches in height and was manumated and set free by the last will & Test of a certain Elizabeth Harris duly executed on the 7.th day of April 1814 and admitted to Prob in my office on the 18 June 1814 his freedom to commence on the 16 day of June 1835 his person having been identified by the Oath of a Certain Henry Wilmer Given under my hand and the seal of my office this (seal) day of 1835 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County negro man named Joshua aged 30 years dark complexion has a scar on his left wrist & 2 scars on left thigh just about his knee and is 5 ft 5½ inches in hight was manumated Same as above Given under my hand and the seal of my office (seal) this day of 1835 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County |
