                   State of Queen Anns County to wit
             I hereby certify that a certain Negro man named William
wells now about 25 years of age dark complexion a scar on his left wrist
and has lost two of his under fore teeth and is 5 feet 2½ inches high was
manumitted & set free by the last will & Testament of a certain Richd B C
Carmichael duly executed on the 29.th may 1804 and admitted to Prob in
my office on 26 Feby 1824 his freedom to commence from 1.st Jany 1835 and
his person having been identified by a certain W.m Carmichael
                                       In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name
    (seal)                           and affixed the seal of my office this 7 sept 1835
                                                             Tho C Earle Reg Wills for
                                                             Queen Anns County


       Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
                I certify that a certain Negro woman named Mary Cain
about 32 years of age Brown Complexion 5 feet 6¼ inches high has s scar on
her middle right finger was manumated & set free by a certain P Feddemon
duly executed on the 18 July 1821 and admitted to Prob on the
22 Jany 1822 her freedom to commence from 1.st Jany 1832 and her
person being identified by a certain Clinton Wright
                                  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
    (seal)                     name and affixed the seal of my office this 30th
                                 day of Sept Eighteen hundred & thirty five
                                                             Tho C Earle Reg Wills
                                                             for Queen Anns County


       State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
          I hereby Certify that a certain Negro man named Phill now about
35 years of age 5 feet 6 inches high dark complexion a scar on his
lip and one on his right leg was manumated & set free by the last will
and Test of a certain W.m B Hackett duly executed on the 13 Nov.r 1807
