115 Extract from the last Will and Testament of George Washington Seth late of Queen Anns County deceased Fourthly. I give and bequeath to my Sister Mary Seth one negro boy called Joe one other called Bill & one called George. But my will and desire is that my negroes herein before mentioned shall each and all have their freedom at the periods hereafter mentioned to wit my negro boy Phill in the Year eighteen hundred and eighteen Peter in the Year eighteen hundred thirty one Henry in the Year eighteen hundred and twenty five Joe in the Year eighteen hundred and twenty Bill in the Year eighteen hundred & twenty two and George in the Year eighteen hundred & twenty eight In Testimony that the foregoing is a true Extract from the last Will and Testament (Seal) of George Washington Seth Record in the Registry of Queen Anns County Orphans Court I have hereunto set my name and affixed the Seal of my Office this twenty eighth day of April in the Year eighteen hundred and twenty Seven Tho.s C Earle R.r Wills Queen Anns County Negro Joe mentioned in the foregoing Extract was identified by Margaret Baker of Talbot County he is five feet four and an half Inches high very black and has a scar on his nose from a Cut in early life and a Scar or mark under his left Ear Tho.s C Earle R.r Wills Queen Anns County The foregoing Extract and Certificate thereof was del.d on the same day to Negro Bill mentioned in the said |
