complexion scar on the lid of the right eye

To the clerk of the Circuit Court for Kent County   This is
to certify that a negro man named Jim now present
& applying for a certificate of freedom is the identical
negro man named mentioned in a manumission from
Martha Browne to sundry negroes dated 17 Sept 1835 then
about 25 years of age to be free when he arrived at the
age of forty four years
October 4 1854                              Saml Clark
    Jim is five feet four & a quarter inches high of a dark
complexion
    Filed and recorded on the 4 day of October 1854 and

hereby certify that negro boy Richard Dublin now present
and applying for a certificate of freedom is a son of Joseph
Dublin was born & raised in Kent County and is free born
Oct 11 1854                           Wm James Maslin
Richd Dublin is six feet & one quarter inch high dark
complexion and is about 20 years of age
Filed and recorded on the 11 day of October 1854 and
