I hereby certify that a negro man now present and
applying for a Certificate of freedom named James
Jenkins was free born & raised in Kent County and
is now about 22 years old
    June 11th 1859                           W.m G True
    James is 5 ft 7 inches high scar under left jaw
& Left Eye and black complexion

and applying for a certificate of freedom named
Mary Elizabeth McComas ageed about twenty three
years was born free and raised in Kent County
    June 13 1859                        Peter Stokes
    Mary is 4 ft 10 in high Dark brown Complexion

with small scar on left wrist & forehead
