          I hereby Certify that a negro woman now
present and applying for a Certificate of freedom
named Jane McComas is the Identical Negro
mentioned in a Deed of Manumission from James
McMomas Recorded in Liber J R No 1 page
391 &c one of the chattel Records for Kent County
Sept 7th 1858

Jane is 4 feet 9½ in high with a Small Scar
under the Right Jaw aged about 28 years
