and William Fasitt all of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and
Execute the same Commission according to act of assembly in such Case

Kent a negro boy of WIlliam Kitchen is adjudged by the Court here to the age of Fourteen
Years this term &a

     To the worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now in
Court sitting the humble petition of Alexander Adams
Clk sheweth that your petitioner being Seized of part
of a tract of land lying on the South side of Wicocomoco creek called
Horseys Chance humbly prays that Commissioners may be appointed
to ascertain the bounders thereof & your petitioner as in duty bound
shall ever pray                                                   Alex.r Adams

    The petition af.d being read and heard and fully Understood
and Mature deliberation thereupon had  Wherefore it is Considered
by the Justices here that a Commission Issue to the af.d Alexander Adams
as by the petition af.d is praid and that Levin Gale, George Dashiell
Edward Chambers and Thomas Gilliss all of Somerset County Gent
be Commissioners and Execute the same Commission according to act
of assembly in such Case made and provided &.a


Melvin Dukes
     bound to
Francis Harper
Melvin Dukes an orphan and Son of Thomas Dukes Late of Somerset
dec.d is by the Court here of his own Consent bound out an apprentice
according to act of assembly in such Case provided unto a Certain Francis Harper
of Somerset County weaver untill he arrives at the age of Twenty one years he being nine years
of age the twentieth day of January next the said Melvin Dukes to serve his said Master the full
term aforesaid during which term the said Melvin Dukes his said Master well and faithfully shall
serve his secretts keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every where willin^ly^ he shall do
and in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice shall demean himselfe towards his said Master
and all his during the term aforesaid   In consideration of which service the said Francis
Harper present here in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the same
Court in manner and form following that is to say that he the said Francis Harper during the
term aforesaid shall and will Learn his said apprentice the trade of a weaver and to read write
and Cypher as farr as the rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his servitude give
him a loom three peices of Slases and ^three pair of^ Geares warping Barrs and Box and a heifer of three years
old and a new suit of Cloaths over & above his Common Wearing Cloaths and Likewise provide for his
