and was for Some time a prisoner under Cap.t Joseph Macclester while
my good Neigbours took pitty on me and took me out of Jale and
if your worships pleases to sett me tax free I the most humble
petitioner in duty bound shall ever pray            James Jones

          The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood wherefore it is Considered by the
Court here that the aforesaid James Jones be for the future Levey free as by the petition aforesaid is praid
and ordered that the be allowed one pounds of tobacco p year

the Court now sitting may it please your Worships
the humble petition of Daniel Lingoe Sheweth
that whereas your petitioner hath for these three years past been
afflicted with a lingring Sickness that I have not been able to do
any work to maintain my self or family & do still Continue in a very
sick & low Condition your petitioner therefore humbly desires of your
worships to set me tax free and your petitioner as in duty bound

          The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon
had wherefore it is considered by the Justices here that the aforesaid Daniel Lingo be discharged
from paying of Levyes untill he shall be restored to his former state of health and that he be allowed

setting the petition of William Merrill most humbly
sheweth that whereas your petitioner being possessed
of a tract of land called Arricoco lying near the head of Pittes Creek
and the Wittnesses being very Ancient who can prove the bounders
your petitioner humbly prays your worships to appoint Commissioners
to Examine Evidences on the land af.d and your petitioner as in duty

       Gillett and Phillip Quinton all of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission
