seven hundred & thirty five Came againe as well the ^afd^ said William Goldsborough who &a as the said John Roberts
in his proper person and the said John Roberts putts in his place & Stead Francis Allen of Somerset County
Gent attorney at Law to defend the action afd upon the Information afd  Whereupon the said John Roberts
by Francis Allen his attorney as before defends the force & Injury when &a and Saith that ^he^ of the premisses afd
above upon him Imposed is not Guilty in manner and form as the afd William Goldsborough who for
the Right honourable the Lord proprietary prosecutes above against him hath Complained and of this he
putts himselfe upon the Country &.a  And the afd William Goldsborough who for the Same Lord prorpy
in this part Followeth in Like manner &a

          Thereupon it is Commanded the sheriff of Somerset County that Immediately he should Cause to Come
here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here Sitting at dividing Creek twelve &a
by whom &a and who neither &a to recognize &a because as well &a and afterwards Immediately Came
thereof the Jury &a and the Jurors of that Same Jury by Joseph MccClester Gent Sheriff of the County afd
to this Impannelled being Called Came to witt William Holland Lewis Jones, Joshua Caldwell Robert
Mitchell Philip Quinton Joseph Houston, John Records Nathaniel Crapper Benjamin Tull John
Townsend Jun.r Thomas Ackworth and John Pope who to say the truth of the premisses afd being
Elected tryed and Sworn upon their Oath did say that the afd John Roberts is guilty of the premisses
in the Information afd Specified in manner & form as by the Information afd above against him
Supposed &a
                               Whereupon all and singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully
understood      It is Considered that he John Roberts pay unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary
for his fine by the Court hereupon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses afd whereof in
form afd he is Convicted Five hundred pounds of tobacco and that the said John Roberts be taken to
Satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd   as also the Said John Roberts is ordered to give Security
for the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due by Occasion of the premisses ^but^ for default thereof
the said John Roberts is Committed into the Custody of the Sheriff of Somerset County thereto remain &a the
Said Sheriff to witt Joseph MccClester Gent by Francis Porter his deputy present ^herein Court^ took Charge of the said
John Roberts accordingly &a  afterwards Came here into Court Lewis Jones & Entered into Recognizance in ten
pounds Ster for the payment of the Severall offices fees due on the Information afd &a
