Somerset County ss.t   Att a Court of the Right Honrble Charles absolute Lord and Proprietary of the
       Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &a held at dividing Creek in the same
       County the third tuesday of August to witt the ninteenth day of the same month and in the twenty
       first year of his said Lordships dominion &.a anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty
       five by his said Lordships Justices the peace in the Same County to keep assigned of whom were present

Richard Tillman, Mathew Tillman Ward, John Rousby, Benj.a Tasker, Philip
Lee, John Rider, Mich.l Howard, George Plater, Edmond Jennings and Charles
Hammond Esq.rs and Robert King, John Smith, Balt hundred Will.m Stoughton
John Handy, James Dashiell, John Scott, James Martin, William Lane, Tho.s
Williams, Henry Ballard, David Willson, Edw.d Rownd, Charles Ratcliff, Geo: Dashiell
Thomas Gilliss, Isaac Handy and Mitchell Dashiell of Somerset County Gent
Greeting Know Ye that we have assigned you & Every of you Joyntly and
Severally our Justices to keep our peace within our County of Somerset  And to do
Equall Law and right to all the Kings Subjects Rich & poor according to the Laws
Customs and directions of the acts of assembly of this province so far forth as they
provide and where they are Silent according to the Laws Statutes & reasonable
Customs of England as used and practised within this province for the Conservation
of the peace & Quiet Rule & Government of the Kings Subjects within our
said County & to Chastise & punish all or any person or persons offending against the
said Acts, Laws, Statutes & Customs or any of them according to the directions thereof
& to call before you or any of you all those who in our County afores.d shall threaten
to do any bodily harm to any of the Kings Subjects or to burn their Houses or Otherwise
break our Peace & Misbehave themselves to find Sufficient Security of the
