in the same Court before the Justices at dividing Creek afores.d were adjudged for his damages
which he had by occasion of a certain promise and assumption to the same
Joshua by the afores.d Thomas made and not performed whereof he is Convict &.c

Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the Seventeenth day of the same month Ann
Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty five being the day of the return of the
said writt Cometh the said Joshua Caldwell ^in his proper person^ and the sheriff of Somerset County to whom
the same writt was directed  Likewise cometh and maketh return thereof to the Court
here Endorsed in these words following Viz.t Cepi in Custody p Jos: McClester Sher

Whereupon the said sherriff to witt Jos: McClester Gent at the same day ^al^tho Solemnly
Called brings not in the body of the said Thomas Holbrook according to the return
of the writt aforesaid but makes default &.cra

Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he should take
John Follows late of Somerset County planter if he should be found in his bailywick
and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek in the County afd the third tuesday
of June then next to Satisfie Joshua Caldwell of twelve hundred and Six pounds of tobacco which
to the same Joshua in the Same Court before the Justices at dividing Creek afd were adjudged for his
damages which he had by Occasion of a Certain promise and assumption to the same Joshua by the
aforesaid John made and not performed whereof he is Convict &a

             Whereupon Came hereinto Court here the said John Follows in his proper person and being by
the afd Sheriffe led to the barr at the prayer of the af.d Joshua Caldwell ^is^ Committed into the Custody of
the Sheriffe of Somerset County there to remain untill the Said Joshua ^of his damages afd^ should hereof be fully satisfied
the said Sheriffe to witt Joseph McClester Gent by James Anderson his deputy ^present herein Court^ took Charge of the
said John Follows accordingly &a
