313 Planner said to her husband James here stands one of the bounders of your Land and this deponant saith that the bounder that the abovesaid Planner shewed her husband ^was a tree^ which is now in his sight which tree is a white Oake that stands on the south side of the road that Leads from William Bostons to where now Daniel Hull Lives and this deponant further said that the above said Planner showed her husband & her selfe Com to the place where Daniel Hulls houses ins and Planner said to her Husband James you have good Land here and that was the Land that was then Called Long ridge and her husband bought it for Shink which Land is now Claimed by Daniel Hull and further this deponant saith not ^apl 19 1735^ Willm Turpin Jun.r William Waters John Waters Somerset ss Ralph Milburn aged forty two Years or there abouts deposeth on the holy Evangelist of almighty God and saith that some few Years agoe he was in Company with Mr Francis Allen and Mr Will.m Lane then a taking of depositions in relation to the bounds of a Certain Tract of Land now in possession of Daniel Hull and the Examination of William Catlin Examined by the abovesaid Mr Allen whether a Certain white oak that is now in sight was a bounder of the abovesaid Lands and William Catlin said he believed so (which white Oak is an Oake that stands on the south side of the Road that Leads from William Bostons to where Daniel Hull now Lives not far from the said Hulls with Sixteen notches in it) this deponant further saith that Mr Allen asked the above said Catlin if it was the first bounder of the abovesaid Lands and Catlin said he believed it was not and then Mr Allen asked him if he knew where it was and he said noe if he did he would have shew'd it before now and have Ended the dispute and some small time on the same day that the abovesaid Catlin was Examined by the abovesaid Mr Allen and Mr Lane that this deponent said he asked Will.m Catlin (if he know) where the first bounder of the abovesaid Land was and Catlin said pointing his hand from the abovesaid White Oake down towards the dams and said that he believed it stood down on the dams side & further this deponant saith not Aprill 19.th 1735 Jno Waters Wm Waters Will.m Turpin Junr
