 Somerset sst  Capell King late of Somerset County Gent Executor of the testament
and last will of Benjamin late of Somerset County Marriner dec.d otherwise called
Benjamin King was Sumoned to answer unto Richard Chambers of a plea that he
render unto him ten pounds eight shillings and eight pence in Case or bills of exchange
which from him he unjustly detaineth &c

And whereupon the same Richard by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney sayeth that whereas
the said Benjaman in his life time (to witt) the tenth day of November in the year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred thirty and three at Somerset County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court
by his certain writing obligatory which the same Richard with the seal of the afd Benjamin sealed
hereinto Court doth bring the date whereof is the same day and year afd did oblidge himself his heirs
Executors Administrators and assigns to pay or Cause to be paid unto the said Richard his heirs Executors
administrators or assigns the full and Just sum of ten pounds eight shillings and eight pence in
Cash or bills of exchange ^being^ due to Richard Chambers Senior estate dec.d  Nevertheless the said
Benjamin in his life time or the afd Capell after the oath of the said Benjamin to which said Capell
adminstrator of all and singular the goods and Chattells rights and Creditts which were of the said
Benjamines at the time of his death at Somerset County afd in due form of law was Comitted) altho' often
thereunto required the Said sum of ten pounds eight shillings and eight pence unto the said Richard
hath not paid but the same unto him to pay hath refused and still doth refuse and unjustly detain to
the damage of the said Richard five pounds Current money of Maryland and thereof he brings
suit &c                                                                                        Pledges &c  Jn.o Doe & R Roe

                   And the afd Capell by George Douglas his attorney Comes and defends the force &
Injury when &.c and prays Leave thereof to Imparle here untill next Court and he hath it
and the Same day is Given to the afd Richard Chambers here also &c

    Att which said next Court to witt the sixteenth day of March Anno Dom one thousand seven
hundred and thirty five Came againe as well the afd Richard Chambers as the afd Capell King by
their attorneys afd  And whereupon the said Capell prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here
untill next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Richard Chambers here also &c

    Att which said next Court to witt the fifteenth day of June Anno Dom one thousand seven
hundred and thirty six Came againe as well the afd Richard Chambers as the afd Capell King
by their attorneys afd  And whereupon the said Capell prays further Leave thereof to Imparle
here untill next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Richard Chambers
here also &c

       Att which said next Court to witt the seventeenth day of August Anno Dom one thousand
seven hundred and thirty six Came againe as well the afd Richard Chambers as the afd Capell
