Nutter all of Somerset County Gen.t Greeting know ye that we have appointed you or any three or
two of you to be our Commissioners to Examine evdences on behalf of a Certain Thomas Benston of the
County afd in Relation to ^the^ bounds of a tract of Land Called Westloe Neck Lying in the County afd
Wee therefore Require you or any three or two of you at some time and place as to you or any three
or two of you shall seem Convenient you meet on the afd land Called Westloe Neck (you first
having taken your oath on the holy evangelist of almighty God According to act of assembly
in such case made and provided) and there Cause to come before you or any three or two of you all such
such Evidences as shall be to you or any three or two of you nominated by the said Complainent
or deft if any and that you or any three or two of you Examine them upon their Corporall oaths
to be by you or any three or two of you Administred on the holy Evangelist of almighty God in the
presents of the Complainent or deft if any touching the truth or Remembrance of their knowledge
or any thing that may relate to the Cause afd and that reducing the several depositions
into writing you and the same together with this our Comission under your or any three or two of
your hands and seals to us to our County Court of Somerset with all Convenient speed  Wittness Robt
King Gent Chief Justice of our said County the nineteenth day of June in the 22d Year of our dominion
&c Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty six

    Now here at this day to witt the Sixteenth day of November ann Dom One thousand seven hundred
and thirty Six Came hereinto Court James MccMorie Day Scott and Alexd Lackey three of
the Gent mentioned in the above Commission and made return thereof Endorsed with Severall depositions
there now annexed   Somerset County ss   On the 23d day of Aug.t 1736 Came before me the Subscriber
One of his Lordships Justices of the peace for the County afd Mr James MccMorie one of the within Commissioners
and was duely qualified for the Execution of the within Commission according to the act of assembly
in that Case made and provided                                    Tho.s Gillis

Somerset County ss.t    These are to Certifie all persons whom it may Concern that the within Mentioned
Alexander Lackey did appear before me One of his Lordships Justices of the peace for the County afd
and made Oath on the holy Evangelist of almighty God that he would truely and impartially Execute
the power and authority given to him in the within Commission according to act of assembly in such Case
made and provided this 20.th of Aug.t 1736                        Will.m Stoughton

    Memorand.m that this day to witt the 6.th day of 7.br Came before me One of his Lordships Justices of
the peace for Somerset Cap.t Day Scott and made Oath that he would well and truely Execute the within
Commission according to Law in that Case made and provided            Geo Dashiell

The deposition of James Russell Senr aged about eighty years having first taken his
oath on the holy evangelist of almighty God saith that Nehemiah Nicholson now dec.d told
