136 272 Test Johanna Hugg Mitchel Dashiell Thomas Cooper on the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was Endorsed vizt Ignoramus William Jones foreman Afterwards to witt the sixteenth day of November ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty Six before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at dividing Creek in the Same County Came the said Rachell Lingo in her proper person under Custody of the Sheriff of Somerset County into whose Custody before that time was Committed for the Cause afd and being by the Said sheriffe Ledd to the bar is thereupon discharged by the Court here from the Commitment afd &c Whereupon the said Rachel Lingo is ordered to give Security for the payment of the Severall officers Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd but for want thereof the said Rachel Lingo is Committed ^into the Custody of the sher of the afd Coty^ thereto remain &c the said sheriffe to witt Joseph MccClester Gent by Joshua Merrill his deputy present herein C.t Took Charge of the said Rachell Lingo accordingly &c Johanna Hugg appears according to her recognizance Entered into to give Evidence for his Lordship against Rachell Lingo and is discharged therefrom &c
the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court one corded fustian Jacket of the Value of fifty pounds of tobacco and one pair of yarn Stockings of the value of twenty pound of tobacco of the goods and Chattels of George Macclester then and there being found then and there feloniously did steal take and bear away contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the Act of assembly in such case lately made and provided &c Testes George MccClester Samuel Jones Thomas Laws and James Wallace On the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was Endorsed vizt Ignoramus Will.m Jones Foreman Afterwards to witt the Sixteenth day of November anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Six before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at Dividing Creek in the Same County Came the said Isaac Parker in his proper person under Custody of the sher of Somerset County into whose Custody before that time was Committed for the Cause afd and being by the said sheriffe Ledd to the Barr is thereupon Instantly discharged by the Court here from the Committment afd &c Whereupon the said Isaac Parker is ordered to give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers their Fees due by occasion of the premisses afd Thereupon a Certain Thomas Laws of Somerset County planter present herein Court undertakes for the said Isaac Parker and acknowledged himselfe Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary in the Sum of one thousand |
