County to witt Joseph MccClester Gentleman at the same day returned that the said John Donelson is
not found &a      Whereupon the said James and Adam Muirs by their attorney afd prays that
for as much as they have Complyed with the Law in order to an attachment they may have Judgmt
against the said John Donelson for their debt afd by way of attachment according to act of
assembly &a   Whereupon for that it seems to the Court here that the said James and Adam Muirs
has Complyed with the Law as alledged

             Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd James and Adam
Muirs recover against the said John Donaldson their debt as also all Costs Charges
and         pounds of tobacco for hi damages Sustained by Occasion of the detention
of the same debt by the Court here of their assent adjudged by way of attachment against
329   the goods Chattells Rights and Creditts of the said John Donaldson according to act of assembly
in such Case made and provided &a

was attached to answer unto Levin Gale Esq.r of a plea of trespass
upon the case &c
       And Whereupon the same Levin by William Beckingham his attorney complaineth
       that whereas the afd William Wye the eleventh day of december in the year of our Lord seventeen
       hundred and thirty five at somerset County (he the same William Wye then and there resideing
       and useing commerce) according to the custom of Merchants and others (the Contrary whereof
       in the memory of man is not used and approved made and with his proper hand subscribed his
       certain Ireland Bill bearing date the day and year afd and to a certain Captain Joseph     
       Macclester sheriff of Somerset County Maryland directed by which same Bill the same William
       Wye then and there did require the afd Joseph Macclester to pay unto Captain John Shapleigh
       or order the full Quantity of six thousand four hundred and sixty eight pounds of tobacco
       convenient in somerset Parish in Maryland upon demand according to law and to place
       the same to the Account of the afd William Wye which same Irland Bill afterwards (to witt) the
       same eleventh day of december in the year afd at the County afd six thousand four
       hundred and sixty eight pounds or any part thereof in no sort satisfied or paid being by the afd
       John Shapleigh to the afd Levin Gale was assigned by which same assignement the same John
       Shapleigh the day and year afd at the County afd According to the custom of Merchants
